  • Oral Iron - Syrup - S$20.00 / Tablets - S$34.50 (Excl. GST)
Many forms of oral iron tablets are available on the market, but many can cause gastrointestinal issues including diarrhoea, constipation or nausea. At The Iron Suites, we prescribe a ferric iron (Fe3+) complex from Switzerland which is gentler on the stomach and usually does not cause the gastrointestinal issues as it is only absorbed physiologically. It is important to recheck iron levels approximately 6 weeks after commencing oral iron supplements to ensure they are working for you. Generally we would consider effective if haemoglobin (Hb) increases by 1g/dL and/or serum ferritin has increased to above 30ng/mL and increased compared with previous value. If working, and depending on iron deficiency degree, usually 6-12 months of treatment is required. The ferric iron we use is available in a syrup or tablet form: - Syrup, 150 ml - S$20.00 (Exl. GST) - recommendation to take app. 10ml daily - Tablets, Box of 30 - S$34.50 (Exl. GST)
  • IV Iron Infusion (500mg iron) - S$475.00 (Excl. GST)
Intravenous (IV) iron (or iron administered via the veins) offers rapid correction of iron deficiency with just 1 or 2 injections plus symptomatic relief in a matter of days. It is recommended as second line treatment if oral iron does not work, not tolerated or if rapid correction of iron deficiency is required. Medical evidence suggests patients with absolute iron deficiency require at least 500mg iron (and may require higher doses if also suffering from anaemia). Our default dose is 500mg iron using the latest generation of IV iron which permits infusion in 1 administration in under 1 hour. A repeat test to check iron levels at 6 weeks is recommended for all patients and in most patients 1x 500mg iron infusion is sufficient to resolve the iron deficiency. - Intravenous Iron Infusion (500mg iron) - S$475.00 (Excl. GST)
  • Flu Vaccine - S$35.00 ( Excl. GST)
  • Botox - S$12.00/Unit ( Excl. GST)
Botox is used medically to treat certain muscular conditions, and cosmetically to remove wrinkles. Botox causes controlled weakening of specific muscles by blocking signals between nerves and muscles. The injected muscle no longer contracts, causing the overlying skin to relax and soften as well. New lines are also prevented from forming. More recently, Botox is also being injected into the skin, rather than the muscles, to stimulate collagen growth. Talk to our doctor to find out more
